Here we go again. Rawls Questionable for game 1...

I'm pretty happy. When we signed Lacy I was like sweet, there's a chance we'll have at least 1 decent back available for every game this season. Now with Carson, I feel like it's a lock that at least 1 out of our 4 backs will be available each game.

RB Chris Carson

This is a tough call, both because Carson is very talented and because the team could decide to give Thomas Rawls another week to heal from his high ankle sprain. Rawls has practiced all week, and my guess is he suits up. If he does, it would be hard to justify having four running backs active on game day. Carson has shown some ability on special teams, so he might push someone else off the active roster outside of the running back room.

I have never understood why the full 53 cannot be active for games. WTH? It has always pissed me off.

If Lockett is healthy Pete said he would return Punts and Kick offs, so McKissic could be the guy inactive.
