I don't know why you all want a rookie QB to be set up for failure, no line and you get David Carr, fix the line, establish a running threat and you don't need to roll dice, reach or hope for a draft position. You can pick up a guy that hasn't been broken yet from another team, yes you may not get a rookie contract, but you get a guy that has been given time to acclimate to the NFL and cut his teeth some. Hass, Geno being two examples here that have worked out. Since they are not starters for their teams you will get a chance to give them that chance on a deal that is team friendly and control the payout based on performance.
