Oh suck on purpose.......
I didn't say that. Stop putting words in my mouth. Someone other than Geno doesn't mean we would have to suck. If they did great, that's a win for us. And if they didn't, then we are set for '26. Geno gets us nowhere either way. He's guaranteed mediocrity.

I had a dodge dart for my first car. It was a four door. The seats were like couches and if you put a cannon on it it would be a tank. It was baby blue with a slant6… bulletproof car
I had a ‘72 Dodge Dart 2 door back in the day full of rust but ran well. I had heard a story that Dodge stopped making the slant 6 that it was too dependable so people weren’t buying new cars

If Js thinks he can be a franchise guy and takes him in the first I would love it. I'm not totally sure why but I trust John when it comes to QB's and I'm not sure its warranted.

JS hasn't shown anything besides Me3 and I think Pete wanted him more
in that draft.
Since Me3 what has JS done? Gave us GeNO and Sammy the bust.
I don't get good vibes with Dart, I think he's another Riddler.

That’s why I said I’m not sure it’s warranted. I just have this weird trust in him for quarterbacks and I can’t explain it. Maybe it’s because he loves Allen and Mahomes when people were pretty split on those two?

Those guys are part of the reason I don’t think we can say “there is no one this year” no one can know that. It doesn’t look promising but who knows? Maybe there’s a guy there at 18 that they run to the table to draft. We shall see

You said better position, this is the NCAA forum and better position would indicate higher draft position so yes SUCK for a higher draft position is what seems to be what you inferred. Own it and be accountable.

I'm guessing at some point; someone has done a first car thread. Would be a fun one for sure.
Mine was a Chevy Citation. Fairley reliable, not pretty to look at, but I couldn't care less, it was a car.

I said IF the replacement doesn't do great, then we are in a better position. You refuse to allow for the possibility that a replacement can do well. It happens all the time. Stop being willfully obtuse.

I don't know why you all want a rookie QB to be set up for failure, no line and you get David Carr, fix the line, establish a running threat and you don't need to roll dice, reach or hope for a draft position. You can pick up a guy that hasn't been broken yet from another team, yes you may not get a rookie contract, but you get a guy that has been given time to acclimate to the NFL and cut his teeth some. Hass, Geno being two examples here that have worked out. Since they are not starters for their teams you will get a chance to give them that chance on a deal that is team friendly and control the payout based on performance.
Do you think JS will prioritize the OL high enought to make this happen? He's been sketchy on the subject. Trying to find "athletes" and then trying to teach them up was even tried. Ownership will probably have to have the talk with him about changing his outlook on the position.
