They seem to be at a serious impasse . It doesn't appear like the Seahawks are going to give him an extension. Does that mean Brown misses a game or two it might very well happen.

well if he does and Wilson gets hurt or is constantly under siege the Hawks loose and Brown Wins. If he does and we dont miss a beat then he looses.

It'd take some serious big brass balls for Brown to take this into the regular season and miss 600k game checks for a battle he's not going to win.

When have Pete and John ever caved or gone back on their word with holdouts? Kam found out the hard way, and so will Brown.

Hard to imagine a 36 year old tackle that's only got another 2-3 years MAX to make as much money as possible is going to miss game checks.

Tyrell Crosby is available. We need the depth and we could get him cheap. He’s started lots of games in the last 3 years, and would be solid until Brown comes back.

Hawks will adjust, they won't miss a beat!

We will see they have failed to adjust in the past when starters were down

Brown as of now isn't a starter, he's not in shape!
He is no Walter nor is he a Hutch
Let him ride the pine.

All reports are Brown's been a beast in the weight room all off season, and in great shape. So you shouldn't worry about his fitness just because he hasn't been practicing.

If I had to pick one player I'd be least worried about skipping all of camp and not missing a beat in game #1, it'd probably be Brown.

Lifting weights isn't game shape.

If your premise is "not practicing or playing in pre-season games = not in shape?"

Then that's 75% of the starters, because barely any starters have been hitting in practice or playing in the pre-season games.

This isn't like the old days where players GOT into shape in camp. They train hard all year around, especially beasts like Brown who pride themselves in staying in shape.

He'll be fine.

Brown doesn't need a single snap in pre-season. He will be ready to roll IF they get this worked out.

36 years old, 315 lbs probably closer to 325! Footwork, reaction time, have more than dwindled but we don't know. If Brown hasn't taken the little Seahawks have offered so far then it should be next up, just like Chancellor!

Feel free to worry about Brown. I'm not. He's still very much elite.

Then put him on the ELITE bench. Pick up Flowers on the way down.
