He's a killer. And going into the Playoffs with such a reliable kicker , it's what everyone wishes for ! This kid is the MVP of our team for this season. Clutcher , reliable and consistent. And today not only he scored 6 crucial pts from 43 yards and 40 yards , but he set a new franchise record with 31 consecutive field goals made. I love all the hype about Adams , Dunlap , Wilson and DK , but this guy is the MVP of this team this year and i hope he stays with us for many more years.

Congrats on the record Jason ! Hope many more to come.

Awesome thread. Myers and Dickson are among the very best in the league at their respective positions. We spend so much time talking about the stars and key players on offense and defense but to demean what these two add to our team is short-sighted to say the least. Studs!

There's a certain kind of confidence a team has in knowing that if they can drive the ball to the 30, it's 80-90% that it'll be worth 3 points. And we know that Russ can do that drive almost any day.

No doubt. Before that fluke tipped interception, the Hawks were up 11, and almost in FG range. He hits that, as usual, and they are sitting up 14.
It's strange to have a kicker who is so consistent, I don't even find myself getting worried he's gonna' miss. I expect him to make every kick. Sure he will miss one at some point, but he is so locked in, I'm not worried about it.

Well, they've already cancelled the Pro Bowl game, so...not a problem. :mrgreen:

You can't predict what other kickers are going to do, so I don't have a problem with Myers not getting that Pro Bowl nod. He is putting himself in excellent position to be an All-Pro though, which is even better.

i really dont care what other kickers do. We should support Myers and boost him with confidence. It's a privilege to have a consistent kicker , joining the playoffs. We've seen many times kickers losing games or winning game. I think we have the best kicker in the league and he seems to be very humble!

Myers is having a phenomenal season, but anyone who would take him over Justin Tucker needs their head examined.

DK who? This is our MVP for the season. Most consistent player in our team , and the only guy that doesn't get the credits he deserves.

He was perfect all year in FGs with 26/26 100% and only missed 4 XPs (92%) this season. He also has 37 consecutive field goals with our team.
