Tyler Shough, plenty of experience, great arm strength, a quick processor. Shough has Schneider man written all over him.

My issue with Shough is he will be 26 at the start of the season. We play Geno for just 2025 and move to Shough he’s already 27. Plus the injury history is worrisome. He did look the best today but nobody really blew your socks off.

I like Ewers. 21 years old. Has time to develop and will still be younger than most QBs coming out in a couple years. It looks natural to him. The deep ball needs work but this isn’t the draft for QBs to come in as finished products.

even at 26, potentially, we still have a good 8-10 years. remember that He is ready to start as a freshman?

By drafting Shough, we can immediately trade Geno. Shough and Howell can compete.

Since the Senior Bowl Shough has become my QB1 I have heard some NFL teams talk about his age where they say it’s a non factor, but I do understand the concern about his injury history if he is available in the 3rd rd I would be all in on drafting him

I would invest a 2nd, quite sure Schneider feels the same way.

Sounds good in theory but y’all better get used to the idea that the Seahawks are more likely than not extending Geno.

Shough will be anywhere from 28-30 before he starts and we have this exact same debate in 3-4 years.

As good as he has looked I’ll take the guy 6 years younger with higher upside.

Bo Nix wasn't that young either.

I read Dart and Ewers looked the best.
Dart looked a lot better than Ewers. Ewers missed a lot of throws. Not a fan. Shough looked decent. Leonard looked good. Howard threw well and I liked Kyle McChord as my dark horse.

no he doesn't. Injury concerns, age and he crumbles under pressure. He'll be available in the 4th or 5th round. Likely a career back up.

How’s that? Because he throws costly int or fumbles with the game on the line? I’ve watched a ton of TS, he isn’t a guy that wins big games. But he will look great in shorts

Shough isn't a catchy football name, usually that's not a good sign. I'd rather have a QB with the last name of Dart. Usually the best QB's don't have stupid names

I would be very surprised if Shough as startable immediately and Howel looked really bad last season when he did play. There is also the risk that if our O-line doesn't seriously improve he will be ruined by starting from the get go.

If the strategy is to throw 2025 away get a high draft pick to either get a highy fancied QB in 2026 (if Shough doesn't like he's developed) or a generational player in another position, or a pack of talent by trading down this might work but I don't think we should be aiming for something like a 4 win season.

Keep Geno and either don't offer him a new contract or make it fairly easy to cut him after next season and get Shough could work.

We'd need to spend a 1st round pick if we wanted Dart. Just don’t see that happening with Geno and Howell in place. I wouldn't be surprised if Dart went top 15.

They mentioned at the combine Jaxson Dart’s brothers name is Diesel. Now that’s a name. Diesel Dart
