It doesn't play on my computer. I get the page and see Carroll in the play box but no sound.

You could try this link, it is from SBNation's Field Gulls page. Maybe that will work?

I usually have problems with some of the video links when using Chrome instead of IE. I am posting this from Firefox and it works for that browser. You would think audio would not be a problem.

For the Chrome vs IE video issue? I think I am up to date. I just did an update the other day so I will see how things go in the future.

I used to blame the Seahawks .com site, but noticed I have the same thing visiting the Jaguars site that handles video using the same containers/layout as the Seahawks (and probably all NFL teams sites).

Thanks...That link worked perfectly.

The interview was very upbeat. As a fan it was reassuring to hear PC talk so clearly about what he expects from the team in the future.

One of the things Pete insinuated about Flynn was, that he and John were convinced that he is still a viable backup, so releasing him is not going to happen.
I look at it like this, some are sure fired certain that Flynn has proven NOTHING, while A.S. has, so the value for Flynn isn't all that.
If you truely believe that, you would then have to assume that JS screwed the pooch by OFFERING Flynn the kind of money he did in the contract they'd come to terms with..Really?
So as I see it some Fans here have reasoned it out in their minds, that they wouldn't have made the mistake that JS did, and they would cut their losses NOW, before having a backup in place that can fill the huge void, and show little or no drop off from RW, and that there is most certainly one available in this upcoming Draft, so there would be no risk in cutting Flynn.
I didn't intend to make this a Flynn thread, BUT,
1. Pete did mention Flynn and his keeping him if there was no fair offer for a trade.

2. The other threads that were open to discussion about Flynn were locked up.

Pete Carroll is always upbeat.

Re: Flynn, I like how he didn't hesitate at all when John C asked him if we could afford to keep Flynn. His answer was "Yes."

To devil's advocate, why would he admit to possibly releasing Flynn if they were trying to trade him? Its about the leverage, bro

So now watch and see the team take a totally different direction in the draft yet still acquire the pass rusher.

Interesting time of year, lying season.

The Flynn signing was NOT a mistake. The Seahawks were going to improve at QB, no matter what. Flynn can play, he can get rid of the ball quickly and move the offense. In preseason he methodically moved the ball when he had chances and just didn't get the TD's at the end. Not to mention the drops made his numbers look lower than they should have been.

I think the FO sees more value in Flynn staying on, that they won't cut him and that they will listen to offers. If they get one that they consider to truly help them they will take it.

Are you using adblock by chance? You gotta disable it for the vids on seahawks.com .
