Always loved his blocking. Says a lot about his willingness to put work in. Never expected him actually to be able to run for much. Still wanted to keep him.

I'm not sure he can do this against starters, but it seems worth seeing.

We've come a long way from the days when everyone wanted to get rid of him for some unknown reason.

Against 3rd teamers, yes. Starters he’s a step behind at minimum.

He was terrible at running with the ball. But man, he kept the QB clean. A LOT of those long passes from Russ on the zero blitzes? Involved Homer just nailing someone down so Russ could unload.
