Off games happen but even last season I was complaining about Lomo's
pitch count, it's high whether on or off.
It depletes the BP and puts wear and tear on his arm, he needs to learn
how to pitch less and go 7 or more.

So you're saying that he regularly struggled with his pitch count and rarely went deep in games, yet he somehow managed to have the most innings pitched in MLB?

And that makes sense to you?

Some of our fans seem to ONLY be "What have you done for me LATELY in the last two games" kind of crowd ;)

Is FOUR innings for a SP ACE material?
4 and 2/3. …. Gilbert did not have it today and he still got through a hundred pitches and only 2 runs. Yes you’d like to see more innings but the blue jays are really good at contact and they were aggressive. Gilbert kept us in there even though it was a rough day. Personally I think he coulda got that third out in the fifth

Berrios is mad Cal is playing baseball
I guess Berrios said Cal was tipping his pitches to teammates.
And there is this... In 20 games against the Blue Jays, Raleigh is batting .292 (21 for 72) with nine home runs and 18 RBIs.

Pretty funny comment from Goldsmith. "Good thing Paxton Shultz didn't start this game. He has absolutely carved through this lineup in long relief."

FYI, Shultz is making his major league debut today. 7 K's in 3 innings so far.

Yeah, ump was inconsistant. Don't think it was against one team or the other, he missed calls for a lot of guys.

Nice to see them tack on a couple of runs late there. So often in the past they just seemed to sit on big leads and let them slip away. Great start for the offense and a solid finish.

Jays are a hitting team in a hitters park. I don't worry much about our starters only going 5. At least they're not giving up big leads for the most part, and with our offense being kind of hot right now, we can out score teams. Won't last forever, of course, so let's hope the pitchers catch up and start shutting teams down better than they have been. Long season.

Off to the Sox. They're not off to a really good start yet. Pretty even with us, so maybe we can steal a series.

Pretty bizarre game.

The Blue Jays are a good hitting team. They had 20 AB's with risp, yet could only muster 3 runs.

Meanwhile, the M's struck out 20 times, yet not only won, they won by a comfortable margin.

And that ump needs to be checked for a concussion or a stroke or something. That was wild.
