The San Francisco 49ers have so many injuries that they were forced to cancel upcoming joint practices that they had scheduled with the New Orleans Saints.

Teams should be at their absolute healthiest now, after the off season. I think there's a big difference between holding them out for minor things that wouldn't be an issue during the regular season, and wear and tear this time of year.

I would agree that the Niners have more cumulative wear and tear than most teams, though. It's been 5 years since you didn't make at least the conference championship! A begrudging tip of the hat.
