Taxes are based on the state in which each game is played. Niners have the double whammy of being in California, and having the Rams as a divisional foe.

Including pre-season, Niners will play 16 games in income tax states, 10 of which are in California.

Including pre-season, Hawks will play 10 games in income tax states, only 2 of which are in California.

That's a huge chunk of money out of their checks.

*Back of envelope, quick calculations may be slightly off.
I'm not a tax expert, but wouldn't the taxes for games played in california only come from their actual salary earnings? That would make a big difference - a lot of the larger contracts nowadays get more money from their signing bonus with a (comparatively) small salary.

Jenkins is more of a box player. Sure, he can play over the top as a free safety but that isn't his strength so it isn't really a drop off per se.

Love can play at a high level over the top, in nickel or in the box. But I suspect that Mac will be using Love mostly in nickel and over the top zone situations as he has uncanny speed and a knack to make plays like Witherspoon.
On Witherspoon's pick-6 vs the Giants, Love ran down Witherspoon like he was standing still and blocked/obstructed any Giants trying to tackle him. That was a "Wow!" moment where it became clear Julian Love is one of the fastest players in the NFL.

South Tacoma Way is pretty awful, then, again parts of Seattle is also pretty awful…

University Place is good. I have some family members that live there. I would say if you are west University Place its a nice area, not, Bellevue nice, but nice enough.
My daughters' club soccer teams in the 00's and 10's had numerous University Place area players on them, nice area, good kids, nice families, high achievers. (Club was formerly FC Royals, then renamed FC United and merged with boys club) One daughter's team won the WA state Premier-1 club championship during her U16 year, other daughter's team made final but didn't win, also the U16 year. I remember one family from Fircrest, and their line was "Fircrest is Mayberry" (as in Mayberry RFD, the old TV show with Andy Griffith, IIRC). From what I saw at the time, that was pretty much true.

Sometimes I bus it from SeaTac to the South Tacoma Park-n-Ride, and then from there to Olympia when I'm coming back from Florida for a visit to WA. While not exactly high-end, I haven't had any problems at the 512 Park-n-ride on South Tacoma Way, and have had some enjoyable conversations on the bus. Not like living near there, of course. Lately though, I usually rent a car at SeaTac for a couple days, cheaper than an Uber ride from the airport to Olympia.

It was about money... State income tax vs no state income tax
I think we should be paying a 70% sales tax. That way our politicians can get even higher pay. And we can fund the world’s poor. Really anyone who makes over 65k has a 70% tax on all income or retirement funds.

My fiancé and I went back up there to King County to surprise my mom for Mother’s Day (we live in Astoria OR now as of last November) and we were floored with the traffic, aggressiveness and chaos we felt on the roads. Mix in the shit show Seattle is now and it’s just plain sad.

We could not WAIT to get back to home. Much slower pace and chill vibe by the ocean. Highly recommended for anyone lol.
Astoria is a nice town. I go there frequently.
