I think not taking Hooker at 52 was a mistake and it is going to be interesting to see how Levis and Hooker's careers go.

Levis went at 33 and Hooker went at 68.

Although Smith-Njigba missed almost the entire fall with hamstring issues he was clearly the best WR in this draft and his odds of having a better career than Levis and Hooker seems likely.

But I'm not as convinced taking Derick Hall or Zach Charbonnet over Hooker is.

It's going to be a lot fun watching this team get better and I expect Geno to do alright but the elephant is still in the room.

Mistake? That depends on how the Hawks view Lock. from My understanding, They like Lock a whole bunch. why would the Hawks want to give up a roster spot for a third QB id they like who they have?

It would only be a mistake if Hooker become an all-pro QB, AND, both Geno and Lock couldn't work out. Let's just say that I like our chances.

There is plenty of data on Lock and while he is likely better than your average backup because he has experience he lost the job to Geno.

I think we may have seen the best of Geno early last year, his stats started to fall and turnovers increased in the second half of the season. I think putting all our eggs in the Geno/Luck basket isn't going to take us very far. Next year, after we just miss the playoffs or maybe win 1, we won't have the luxury of the Denver draft picks and well have to trade or hope for another Hooker to be on the board late.

I don't buy that, you could have said the same thing about Geno before last season. It's quite possible Denver just wasn't a good fit.

I think time will prove Pete and John right.

Both need massive development. Both are old. And the development they need is not common in the NFL.

In 3 years, Seattle will probably have a chance to pick up both off waivers.

QBotF is still something to figure out. But once Richardson went at 4, all true Franchise options were off the board.

Haener/DTR/Aiden O'Connell were interesting Day 3 fliers, but unlikely to be true Top 5 studs.

Waiting was the right move IMO.

The single greatest draft day move for Seattle was not drafting a Quarterback. I give them an A for that reason alone.

Lock was selected by the Denver Broncos in the second round as the 42nd overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. Basically right between Levis and Hooker but unlike them he wasn't expected to go in the first round.
