This covid issue hasn't gone away. It is a near certainty that a key player will test positive at some inopportune time and cause them to miss a critical game.

They're supposedly trying to get a vaccine specific to the omicron variants approved by Labor Day, but I doubt that the league will go to the lengths they did last season to get needles into arms.

People used to get the flu and it was viewed as a bad cold, now everyone needs a week off at the first sign of the flu. Mindset has been taught to “comply”. If a person is sick, stay home and get better, but to think the “flu” will ever be completely eliminated is unrealistic at best.

Yep this. The shots were also supposed to eliminate covid, that is exactly what we were told originally. Can't talk about that though.

Some of you don't realize that COVID is now part of planet earth? It is NEVER going away. That's not how a virus works. Get well soon Penny. Just keep fingers crossed that the team doesn't have an outbreak.

As opposed to a bunch of keyboard athletes who are clearly also experts. Because getting Covid has anything to do with getting injured. Some Hawks fans are legit unhinged.

No, but the Hawks might. They were doing standards above league protocol at one point.
