I read somewhere we have the most sucess sweeping right, yet we stick to the middle and left mostly. Would be refreshing to try our strengths now and again.

With one yard to go, you run up the middle.
You run AT the 49ers to get yards on them. You don't run away from them. The key is your people have to make their blocks.
But you run laterally against this team, you are going to lose.
Bigger question is why we are running. The DL is a strength for them, the secondary is a weakness.

And remember You or I could get 6 yards per carry against our run defense.

You don't run on the 49ers unless you want to lose, because the only chance is to pile up points. Our defense is going to give up 8 yds a carry easy. They WILL score bunches.
