yeah IDK how their formula works. Maybe because it wasn't listed as a 'need' position and i picked two QBs.
I like the double dip approach at such an important position. Easy enough to stash them both if there’s potential.

I always feel like 6th and 7th rd picks are basically lottery tickets, so use 'em on the most impactful / valuable positions just in case you hit.

Can get some seriously OP drafts in that PFF mock.

I took a different approach and drafted in such a way that would be certain to make front page news.

So weird that they hate To'oTo'o so much. I have watched a few of his games. He is not great by any means, but seriously good value in the fourth round. They are also the only source that seems to think that he is horrible as the consensus big board has him in the second round.

Assuming we aren't drafting one of the top QBs, and Carter/Anderson were gone in the first 4 picks, Trading down may work:

  1. This is an interesting multiple trade down scenario. We end up getting an addition 1st, 2nd and 3rd round picks in next year's draft, and still get Myle Murphy and Caliah Kancey. Pff mock results 31

  2. This one is similar, we will get one 1st, and two 2nd round picks in 2024 draft. Pff mock results 30

Love that the individual grades are C', D's and F's but I got an overall grade of A-.
I know it's not realistic but that would be my dream draft. I could have probably got Sydney Brown to really top it off, but I think this is unrealistic enough.

I would have traded down again at 9 if I could have gotten into the 12-15 range.

I played with the PFF Mock Sim. It's quirky in that it doesn't seem to like some of the players and gives a low grade no matter where you pick them. For example, John Michael Schmitz is rated the top C in the draft but he gets a low to average grade at best on PFF -

Screwed up and lost my screen shots, but saved the numbers. PFN gave me ridiculous trade backs and I took them!
McShay said he only had 14 legitimate 1st round draft picks, Kiper said he struggled to find 80 draftable players, and Matt Miller at ESPN+ said he had 19, 1st Round prospects.
And I still got Keanu Benton, Mazi Smith, Jake Haener, Vorhees, Center Smitz, Gervon Dexter, Stanford WR Wilson, and other great players I couldn't believe! It was fun, but not realistic. 🤯

Unless Jalen Carter or Will Anderson could be have at #5, there's no reason not to trade down and get a 1st and 2nd for '24, with two 1st and two 2nd in 2024, we can trade up for a franchise QB. After trading down, we still have high likelihood of getting good players. For me, that would be a DI in Kancey, a DE say Myles Murphy.

So many trades this time. But ended up with Kancey at 16 with two other picks in round 1, 3 picks in round 3. Plus 3 total 1st round picks in 2024 (Falcons, Commanders).

The Ravens REALLY wanted to move up 2 spots to 20... game me picks 3,4,6,7 next year, pick 22 and their 4th round this year for just two spots.
