Let's assume Russ will be traded this off season, which is looking increasingly likely. What would be the ideal next QB?

A game manager in a run heavy offense?
A west coast type, short medium passes?
A mobile QB?
A pocket passer?
.
We definitely will suck next season as this offense was built around Russ's unique talent and skill set. But moving forward, with lots of picks, what should we look forward to?

Sam Darnold!!! If we have to settle Derek Carr or Marcus Mariota! Raiders might get 2 round 1’s for Carr! We trade RW for 5 round 1’s and Mariota that’s the Raiders best shot at taking down the Bears!

Not to be a stickler, but PLEASE use the term "passer rating" when not referring to the actual QBR stat. 78 passer rating is shite, 78 QBR is really really good.

Whose Darnold’s TE, WR, And RB? Jets have a terrible OL! You can’t compare Stats it’s not reliable. Darnold is a basketball player & Russ is a baseball player! What Darnold accomplished at USC going against 4 star & 5 star QB’s then flashing big time in the PAC 10 is remarkable! Don’t forget at NC state RW didn’t have his situation locked up but what he did at Wisconsin was also remarkable!

Darnold’s up side is huge! Whoever we draft in 2021 will be a future franchise QB! If we can get one of the top 2 QB’s in the 2023 draft RW will be a distant memory.

RW is complaining about 394 sacks whats he going to be saying when he’s at 500 sacks? I appreciate the info Russ were going to fix the O Line but were also going to TRY to trade you, maybe we fail at it maybe we don’t.
