Seahawks license plates went on sale today

My mom got 0044, offered to get a set for me but the cars so old i didn't think it was worth it. Some lucky SOB got 12 I suppose.

Pretty sure I remember 12 being auctioned off for charity.

Yep it went for $42K and some change.

Wife went in today (car is still registered in her name) and got 01981 for my car - I'm pretty stoked to say the least Crazy that there have been almost 2000 plates sold in just over a day.

I was reading the DOL description and it reads you can change the plates to another rig as long as it stays with the original owner. Thats cool..

That's true of personalized plates so likely true of these as well.

How much did you pay in fees? The Seahawks plate application says an additional $52 for personalized. But on the personalized application page it states for plate with a special background you pay:
$79.75 personalized plate fee + special design plate fee (varies by type of design) + Registration fees for your vehicle (varies by location and type of vehicle).

Edit: For anybody else interested in this $119.75 is the amount (made out to DOL) you will have to mail in if you want personalized Seahawks plates.

These plates are freaking amazing... Why do I not live there anymore?!? Fug-it, I'm moving back or at least I'm going to get a car registered there and bring it here to Arkansas aka "the most funnest place in the world" (if you like watching paint dry).
