In this mock I have the Seahawks trading down in the 1st round and acquire a 2nd round pick from the Lions. This mock has the Seahawks building up their defense to be dominate going forward, while also addressing needs on the offensive side of the ball.

1st round #28 (from trade) - (OLB) Donovan Ezeiruaku 6'2" 248 lbs Boston College:
Ezeiruaku has great agility to run the arch to the QB, great arm length, non-stop motor, and he loves football. He would be an upgrade to our pass rush at OLB.

2nf round #50 - (DE/DT) Ty Robinson 6'5" 308 lbs Nebraska: Robinson has the pro-typical size for a 3-4 DE. He has good straight line speed and also is very powerful. He is another dude that loves football and brings toughness to our front seven.

2nf round #60 (from trade) - (S) Andrew Mukuba 5'11" 190 lbs Texas: Mukuba plays bigger than his size, he is a big hitter for his size and he has good ball skills. He is a high energy player that is always around the ball.

3rd round #82 - (OG/OT) Charles Grant 6'4" 310 lbs William & Mary: Grant is a highly athletic lineman that has a wrestling background. He graded very high as a zone blocker. He plays physical and looks to finish defensive players.

4th round #137 - (TE) Jaylin Conyers 6'3" 265 lbs Texas Tech: Conyers is an athletic and a good receiver from the TE position.

5th round #173 - (QB) Max Brosmer 6'2" 225 Minnesota: Brosmer doesn't have a high ceiling like a lot of the other QBs in this draft, but he has a high floor and could be a Brock Purdy type of QB.

6th round #186 - (OT) Carson Vinson 6'7" 314 lbs Alabama A&M: Vinson is another small school player that is fairly athletic and a good fit for zone blocking. He has the traits to be a good developmental OT.

6th round #212 - (DT/NT) Thor Griffith 6'2" 320 lbs Louisville: Thor looks like a fairly athletic DT. He graded out good vs the run. When he played at Harvard he was a disruptive player getting pressure on the QB. During his three years at Harvard he had 13 sacks with 33 tackles for loss. Thor would play NT for us. I think he could be a late round steal.

7th round #236 - (TE/FB) Jee Scott Jr 6'3" 243 lbs Ohio State: Watching a Ohio State game this year Scott stood out to me for his blocking. Scott is a former 4 Star rated WR and only has a couple years of experience at TE. He is athletic and has high upside. He has a good work ethic and is proven to be a good blocker, so I think he will make an easy transition to FB. He could be a receiving threat from the FB position.

To start I really do look forward to your mock drafts you put a lot of effort into them

1. Ezeiruaku is one of my favorites for the Seahawks to pick at 18 some may say it would be an over reach but I think he is worth it he scored very high in what I value the most at the combine ( 3 cone and 20 yard shuttle) For the season he had 16.5 sacks and 20.5 TFL it’s very hard to argue with production

The rest of the players I do like except for Brosmer in the 5th rd as a mid rd QB I like Riley Leonard, if he isn’t available I would probably go RB which this is a very deep draft for

How can you not draft a guy named Thor

I do think it’s wishful thinking to get an extra 2nd rd pick for dropping from 18-28

In every mock draft I have come upon they all fail to draft what I think is critical going forward which is a 0/1 tech so Murphy can go back to 3 tech

Good Job!

Good stuff.

Donovan Ezeiruaku might be a consideration at #18. After I completed my mock, I started to really think Campbell might go earlier than when the Hawks pick. Ezeiruaku would be a great consolation prize. Well he's a hell of a player in high own right. Love the pick.

Mukuba reminds me a lot of Julian Love. A safety that can do a little bit of everything. A willing tackler but lacks the true horse power.

Thor Griffith was someone I had originally but ultimately thought he was still too raw. He has great power and was one of the most productive DTs in the country in the Ivy League.

Very interested in Jaylin Conyers. Uber athletic dude that has played everywhere in TE, H-Back, FB.

Great mock draft. I havent really went to deep in the mock draft just been
looking at what would be the best first round pick for us. I like the Nick Emanuwari
or the kid from from ND State as an upgrade to our line. I think there are good QB's
to get later in the draft and develop along with O-line and D-line help. Would
find it hard to pass up either of those guys in the first round.

Nick Emanuwari has great size and is an amzaing athlete, but he is not a big hitter. He looks a bit passive in run support, doesn't hit to his size. He can cover TEs and looks to have good ball skills. He is not an enforcer vs the run and hasn't shown to blitz coming from as a blitzer. I don't want him for the Seahawks in the 1st round, but I do think he is a late 1st round talent.

I would much rather have the other player you mentioned ND State OT/OG Grey Zabel. He plays with the toughness, that we need, he is a good athlete for zone blocking, and he is a vocal leader. He has all the intangibles we need on our offensive line and team in general.

Agreed on Zabel i think he is a slam dunk for the O-line, i see Emanuwari as an upgrade at safety and think he is the best safety in the draft. If both are available its a coin toss for me. Comes down to what we need most and thats line help.

i went back and looked at Nick some more, he has a high football IQ, is getting compared to Kam even without the big hits. His athleticism is really high, has great ball skills. i think he fits Mikes defensive scheme as a Kyle Hamilton type player i think wherever he goes he is a big impact player out the gate.

I honestly don't think he has the instincts of Hamilton and the hitting power of Chancellor.
