In the last 13 games Mariners hitters have struck out 143 times. The astros have only struck out 532 times all season (Seattle 814). That means in the last 13 games the Mariners have got nearly 27% of the astros total from the whole year.

You cannot go ALL pitching and ignore the hitting or you end up like the Mariners.

The "loves them failing" was a Dipoto thing. I can't believe it is anything directed towards the players themselves.

I didn't like him as a GM hire for the Mariners and now his puppet Justin Hollander is the GM while Dipoto moved up to president of baseball operations. Those two are baseball's "Dumb and Dumber" duo.
