In the middle of all this euphoria, I'm really rankled with all Clausen's completions down his left side. Man, we made him look like a starting quarterback for cryin' out loud, not a third-stringer. Question is, was Shead just having a bad day? Somebody else? Or did Baltimore run some slick techniques that greenie Kris Richard wasn't able to figure out?

I asked this is the Gameday forum but nobody answered. If this is a Baltimore technique, we are giving a lot of help to other teams who watch our film.

Shead was banged not sure if that affected him before they took him off for the time he missed during the game, I'm sure they will have a plan in place for Johnny next weekend.

Don't think Baltimore was doing anything special. Just a guy relatively new to the position got beat a few times. At least one if them was after shead was already hobbled.

Yeah, the plan is dangle airplane shooters and loose women in front of him on the sidelines. That should throw his game all off.

Hopefully Shead will be ok. Too many secondary players are getting dinged up. Manziel won't last past the 1st quarter. He's going to meet Avril and Bennett frequently next week and most likely won't survive that attack.

Give Marc Trestman some credit - the man who turned Josh McCown into an asset as a starting QB will probably make Clausen look valuable enough to get a semi-decent backup contract next year somewhere (Browns)

It is not a coincidence that Baltimore made all its success using 2 and 3 man combos that targeted where Shead bails.

Look for this from future opponents.

Shead just isn't that good, he really has a hard time finding the ball. He's definitely a liability but hopefully he continues to get better for the playoff run.

Shead hurt his ankle, but was really close to making some good plays. Not worried about it. Lane played well at RCB. More worried about getting Kam and Bennett back to 100%.

On a slightly related note, that was the 6th game this season where the defense didn't allow a TD (4 games with no TDs, 1 with fumble-six and 1 KO return).
