The first axe has fallen. Meyer fired Wednesday night. What a disaster. Didn't even make it through his first season. Another example of a very highly successful college coach that can't cut it in the NFL.

Also, a very familiar name taking over as interim HC.

Insane. The Jaguars were in a complete rebuild and were expected to be terrible, and Urban STILL couldn't make it through one season.

I'll always love Urban for what he did for my Buckeyes, but damn, he destroyed his legacy with this. He showed himself to be a terrible leader and an awful person.

EDIT: In fairness to Urban, Bevell was a big LOSER in SB49. So maybe that's what he meant. Give the ahole credit for being a student of the game, apparently except for knowing the names of his own players.
