I am a rabid Seattle Seahawks fan but in light of playing the Washington Football Team this week been thinking with family about an appropriate name for the WA DC Team

Here are my favorites:

1. Washington Swamp Creatures (Fitting based upon what goes on in WA D.C)
2. Washington Swamp Monsters (similar idea)
3. D.C Swamp Monsters
4. D.C. Swamp Creatures
5. Washington Freedom Fighters
6. Washington Whigs
7. Washington Senators
8 Washington Wimps
9. D.C. Crocs
10. D.C. Crooks (Same theme!)
11. D.C. "Deep Staters"
12. Washington Wannabes

One of the reasons that WA resisted a name change, and may never have a new moniker, is that it is very difficult to find a good, new name that is available (though I suspect Whigs is available). In fact, someone has reserved, entirely legally, a lot of possible WA names. Establishing a new name can also be expensive.
