Willie Lampkin played five years of OL college ball, from Center to guard., and he excel at zone blocking. I would love to sign him, 7th round or UDFA. He can play center, too bad we won't Wilson as QB, otherwise this is the center that allows him to see the field.

What I really like to try is to play him as full back. Wth him on the field, we essentially have an extra lineman in passing situations and a wonderful lead block for running plays.

5'10" 270 lbs

Didn't have that info on those two pages there. He would be interesting as a blocking FB. I wonder if he can catch a pass out of the backfield? That could be fun to watch.

My bad, I overlooked the basic info. Some other website listed him at 290lbs, regardless 270 or 290, that's a huge fullback.

The dude is a beach ball. They had him listed at 270 at the senior bowl. He didn't get a combine invite.

His movement skills and compact frame could make him an intriguing chess piece in creative offensive schemes. North Carolina experimented with using him as a lead blocker in certain packages, and his ability to pull and locate defenders suggests he could be utilized in a hybrid fullback or H-back role in short-yardage situations. His ability to operate in space, combined with his tenacity and finishing ability, makes him an appealing option for teams looking to add a unique element to their blocking surface levels.

He is definitely an intriguing player. I doubt he last to the 7th round or goes undrafted. PFF has him rated as a 4th round prospect. Using a 4th round pick on a project of converting a offensive lineman to a FB is a big waste of resources. I'd be cool using a 6th or 7th round pick on a project player conversion, but a 4th or 5th for non-premium position is too rich for me.

There are some good blocking TEs and FBs that will be available in the 6th and 7th rounds or may even go undrafted for us to target.
