Is this Russell Wilson's team? Like somehow RW and Schotty pulled off this Coup to take control of Pete Carroll's football team? Abandon the running game because RW needs to be MVP or else RW is going to leave Blaming the Seahawks for underutilizing him?? Really?

This is why Carroll doesn't like the media... this is like the stupidest conspiracy theory ever...

Yes the Seahawks have a GREAT offense Russell Wilson is the best QB in the league right now but also he has two of the best receivers in the league... any coach that didn't take advantage of that would be stupid...

The thing is going into the season NOBODY thought the Seahawks secondary would have the issues they have... Everybody thought the secondary would be the best in the league.. Im not buying the theory that the seahawks knew going into the season that they would have to score 30+ points a game to make up for a failing secondary and schotty and Wilson overthrew Carroll to make up for it... or that Russell Wilson's ego is so big that he has to have MVP or its Carrolls fault for underutilizing him...This is such a load of crap...

Eventually Defenses will figure out a way to shut down Wilson... it's just a given thats why a balanced attack is so important... successful NFL offenses can not be one dimensional... the fact that this team has a great running attack and a great passing attack is the strength of this team... To think that the Seahawks will not utilize a balanced attack depending on who they play and what match ups they feel they can take advantage of is ludacris at best...

Not a Coup, just Wilson and alot of the team had something to say, and PC finally listened....so far.

As to eventually they will figure out a way to shut him down, maybe or maybe not, no one knows. I mean what team has a top 5 dline, and top 5 DBS? it would take both. As to 1 dimensional no one ever said one dimensional at all. The whole let Russ cook thing was about letting him do what he does in the 4th qtr in every QTr. We are running the ball 42% of the time, and passing 58% that is not that lopsided. Last year we were 48% run and 52% pass. Year before 56% run and 44% pass. So we are titled more toward pass, but far from way out of wack. Example last year the chiefs were 37% run and 63% pass. I agree we will use a balanced attack but make no mistake this is Wilsons team, and they will rely on him and I doubt barring him getting injured you will ever see us run more than we pass again. YOu dont take the ball out of the hands of your best player period.

Umm how long do they have to figure out how to shut him down, he has been in the league quite some time and they have yet to figure it out, kinda of why the let Russ Cook came out at all, when he can cook in the 4th quarter he was awesome, they just let him do it for 4 quarters.

That was before they added all the offensive tools he has now also.

This is Russell Wilson’s team. Garden was weeded out, now the prized flower wants to stand alone and show why it’s the prized flower. And the gardener in his twilight with nothing to lose has backed off. It’s that simple.

This is something that is too long in coming IMHO and we have always had good receivers so I don't know how that makes anything different.

I don't disagree that Russ is the guiding force on the field for this team. That seems obvious. Thing is players come and players go, even the best of them.
Carroll has been at the top of the coaching profession longer than he's been in Seattle. Belichick looks to be surviving the departure of Brady. The secret to long term franchise success is in the staff on hand. The secret to success for this years team is placed in the hands of DangeRuss.
