7-3, first in the division and still in competition to take the #1 seed in the NFC, the defense easily just had their best performance all year, Russ was perfect, we had balance on offense and looked great. I thought there were some bad ref calls out there to be honest and it could have been even more lopsided. DK’s gotta catch that TD ball with his hands, lol it hit him right in the face mask :| but we played great against a great team and closed the game out with great defense! That last series was very fun to watch! Great game and great team win.

The narratives always evolve based on who you play and how injured you are.
There is no grand scheme.

If you'd just looked at the schedule you'd have predicted a decent start, rough middle and easy ending to the season. The fact that we hit the rough part of the schedule with some significant injuries to our RB's and DB's meant it looked a bit rougher than it may have.

Last night was a solid win and looked like Seahawk football. It should be encouraging. That being said I agree that we are not the best team in the league right now. But we are a good team and could be a very good team by season end. Then you just need to get hot.

Here come the whiners, the doom-and-gloom crowd who always feel the need to dump on the team, win or lose. They can't enjoy a win, and nothing less than a 50-0 destruction is acceptable to them

We should have won by at least 2 TDs, maybe more. Shot ourselves in the foot most of the night but still prevailed, thanks to a revived running game and the best performance from our D this year. Hoping those 2 things are a harbinger of what's to come for the remainder of this season.

It's a fair point. Our dropped passes and ill-timed penalties hurt. Bear in mind though, that the Cards committed some pretty awful penalties too. A couple of these handed us safety, and also directly led to Hyde's TD.

TBF, the OP was right after the Rams game.

About 28 teams in the league would like to be "just not that good" as us.

Fair enough. The Ram game was a full-fledged disaster.

I think this is a damn good team on the rise. But hey, you know they say about opinions...……
