Josina now:

It's been 33 minutes with no update.

Considering what the biggest topic in the NFL is right now... I'm going to start this thread now and update it if appropriate. This has GOT to be either Wilson or Watson, right?

NOTE: Yes, this is in the wrong forum. For now. I'll actively update as I spam refresh on Twitter. Just want to have this monitored as visibly as possible as the possible start of the biggest transaction in franchise history.

If we trade Wilson, Carroll needs to be driven out of Seattle, absolutely unacceptable.

For the good of the NFL Wilson goes to Las Vegas . This would be an epic trade for all concerned . This is a no brainer for me with !/2 a brain at max . :D

Carroll will go from hero to public enemy #1 in a matter of seconds.

Lol why? It’s not his fault Russ is only for Russ, it’s not his fault his QB wants out

It's Pete's fault Russ was floated as a trade option 2 years ago.

It's Pete's fault that we prioritize defense in drafts, instead of O-linemen.

It's Pete's fault that we spend the least on O-line. Despite Russ' 2020 cap hit being only 2 million more than Brady's.

Probably, yeah. We don't really know if that was the reference for sure, but its likely.

But as of now with that Tweet plus the oddsmakers removing Russell Wilson odds, there's a bit of smoke. Probably nothing.

It is Pete Carroll's fault. This could have all been avoided long ago, if not for Carroll's stubbornness. He refuses to run certain routes in his offensive scheme, he doesn't give his QB much agency at the LOS, and he spends next to nothing on the offensive line.

He could have afforded Graham Glasgow or Jack Conkin, but you know what he decided to do? He brought in Iupati, Shell, Warmack, Finney, Ogbuehi. Then he spent more money on Dorsett, overpaid for Reed and Olson. We wasted our cap space on a bunch of nobodies when we had blue chip lineman that went for reasonable prices.

Wilson feels like his words are falling on deaf ears. This didn't come just come out of nowhere, there was a progression that led to this. Carroll is largely to blame for the state of things right now.

Sadly I think the hawks are better off with no Wilson if it guarantees Carroll is also gone. Wilson is irrelevant if Carroll is still here anyway. We aren’t winning a SB with Carroll regardless of who our QB is.

Yeah, it pretty much is. Besides hardly addressing the Oline, handcuffing the offense, wasting cap space and draft picks, he also dismissed Russ' opinions for the offense.

Russ has had enough with being the whipping boy.

Is it also his fault Russ never developed enough as a QB to read a cover 2?

How about maybe lineman don’t wanna play with Russ cuz he’s unpredictable and sacks himself a lot of the time?

This isn’t all on the team, Russ is about his LeGaCy now, it’s about him and it’s gross. I have no interest on keeping a guy who’s not man enough to request a trade the right god damn way either. Richard Sherman was right about Russ.

Looking back.

Spencer Heywood and Lenny Wilkins, Dennis Johnson, Walt Hazzard.

Randy Johnson, Ken Griffey Junior, Alex Rodriquez

Is Russell Wilson next?

Sonics took years to recover from their moves.

Mariners never have recovered.

Why I am looking back at teams here that have made major moves or chose to not make some and the effect after.

Russ has handled this poorly.

It certainly adds smoke to the fire we have tried to ignore over the years from some teammates.

I understand the point you're making but the Mariners are a bad example. They had their best season once Johnson, Griffey, and A-Rod left. That team tied for the most wins in a regular season all-time.

Lol u guys are hilarious. In his interview Wson called out 1 person by name. Himself. He did not say oline a system can have a lot to do with sacks. As to recognizing cover 2 maybe he did but his oc would not listen. Maybe he did but ox would not listen. The reality no one knows jack crap for a fact. Those that dislike Wilson believe it's him, Those that are not PC people believe it's him. The reality it's both.
