This is true... but its not like Pete throws down the gauntlet and makes all the decisions... they have a system worked out that works for them... There is no issues between PC and JS they work well together... if that was not the case JS would be in Green Bay or some other team...

How do you really know? just because JS stayed does not mean anything , maybe the job in GB would have been worse. The reality is we don't know.

Pete hand picked Schneider and brought him on board a week after being hired.balakoth":zkt01351 said:JS is an Executive Vice President as well as General Manager, Pete Carroll is a Head Coach plus Executive Vice President of Football Operations
In the grand scheme of a business they are both pretty equal.

Money trumps all and he got a very good deal to stay. If u pay someone enough they will put up with almost anything.

Pete can do whatever he wants, and its John's job to talk him off the ledge.

The historic trades that do not seem to entirely compliment PC Seahawks football makes one think that PC doesn't exactly have all the say in JS' moves.

Pete's the CEO. He doesn't make every little decision, but you better believe he is in the loop on everything that is player-related. He took the job in 2010 with the stipulation that he would have total control of the program. That has not changed.
