Wow, talk about ripping the scabs off.
It took me years to put the freaking travesty of total biased and incompetent refereeing that we got in XL behind me. That game was closer than the artificially increased score. A fairly called game instead of Steelers annointing would have been really close. Hollie was right to publicly call out he referees.
XLIX still burns at times but now Bevell is gone I have slowly accepted it, even though I know ‘the play’ was BS. That quote above just ripped the scabs off, for both losses. Since 2005 the Hawks are a rare tea that has been to the “Big Show” three times.
It sucks to think of the coulda, woulda, shoulda, but Jeez if only.
