  • I was involved with racing though out my whole life and the wreak that happen to Newman is a real mystery in with how the car acted as it when though the process of the wreak. The car should of flip faster bleeding off energy as it flipped, this was more like a pither throwing a knuckle ball. After the car hit the wall head on it was flip upside down then was stuck by Corey LaJoie head on into Newman drivers side door flipping once more, comming to rest up side down on the drivers side down. Newman slid upside down for over 500 feet on its roof.

Newman injuries are non life threating and he is awake and talking to doctors and family. At this time there has been no release of his injuries.

If I was to guess at the extent of Newman's injuries it be, a server injury to his left arm, maybe even a decapitation and possible right and left collar bone fractures with concussion. And a possible back injuries.

I was the pit boss of a Indy type racing league for eight years, just in case anybody wanted to know.

Newman nick name was the Rocketman but, maybe now they will call him knuckleball.

  • It was a nasty looking wreck but he is ok.
I see how the new age media keeps harping on what could have happened
and somehow brings Dale into it..Car racing isn't bumper cars and a lot
    have died doing it..
