Edit: For those that don't remember this it was against the Seahawks and Shockey was celebrating a game winning field goal before it went through. The Seahawks ended up winning. It was a game in which both teams were doing their damndest not to win.

Meh, this is just years of pent-up frustration that has found its way to a relief valve. Team success is a ticket to finally give out the long-repressed smack.

I think it is a NFC East thing. Can you imagine dealing with insufferable, entitled Eagles and Cowboys fans on a weekly basis? Especially when you are their doormat more often than not? You have become conditioned to crawl in the mud. These folks are a product of their environment. It is the only world they know, and they think it translates to everywhere else.

There's some magical parts of the city, but the surrounding area is just the epitome of soulless and depressing. Especially that Jersey part. So dirty looking.

Yeah, absolutely. There is a lot of stuff to do here. There is a lot of diversity of what to do as well.

A lot of people who live here will downplay all the touristy stuff, but I still find that stuff enjoyable and if you get tired of that, lots of less touristy stuff to do as well.

Yeah, I can see that. I don't go to Jersey unless I have to. (Though I know and work with a lot of people live there because it's more affordable than NYC which is ridiculously overpriced.)

And the city itself is dirty, that's not wrong. You definitely have to have a tolerance for some grittiness.
