A 3 Time All-Pro who..........clearly sucks. I never get tired of laughing at that take.

Jerry Rice only had 25 catches his last year in the league in Seattle, and he's widely considered the greatest receiver of all time.

Adams being an All Pro four years ago has absolutely nothing to do with fans doubting his chances of coming back from multiple major injuries. You guys keep trying to make it sound like there's zero basis for people's criticisms.

There's plenty basis.

Well, KJ Wright and Dave Wyman rave at how good of a football player he is. I'm good with the opinions of actual former NFL players.
Nothing wrong with criticism, not at all. But then again, much of what is on here is just 24/7 blasting the guy.
He needs to stay healthy, nobody is denying that. I'm denying that he's the shi**y player people make him out to be.
And if he doesn't have 2 sacks and 10 tackles tonight, I get to look forward to hearing how he sucks. Can't wait :ROFLMAO:

I’m rooting for Jamal because it sounds like he went to and through a very dark place. That interests me. Despite what fate may have for him playing in a car crash simulator for 15 weeks and the Super Bowl.

Not at all. Plenty of people actually get that he's a good football player. I think he's damn good, some don't. Big deal. I just find it amusing, that's all.
But thanks for chiming in.

You're the exaggeration king of .Net.

No one said he was a sh*&$y player, then or now. He's a broken player trying one last ditch effort to see if he can regain even 75% of his former All Pro form.

You guys are the one's acting all insulted and exaggerating the criticisms of Adams in order to play some "who's the #1 homer fan" or something Idk.

Nah, I'm just messing around, but your point is taken. He isn't the perfect player, far from it. But I think he makes the team better.
And plenty of people say he's not that good. Forgive me for saying "shi**y player" then.

just get through the game uninjured, plenty of time to game back into all pro form.

Seriously, this is all most of us are hoping...........and lord knows Adams and the rest of the defense could use the confidence boost of him just getting through the game without another injury.

Play a handful of snaps, run around, hit some fools. Then dip out with a 17 pt lead in the 4th.

Fans can be fans of their teams while still having objective opinions about their teams. In fact, it's a much healthier and more interesting way of discussing sports, rather than just rah rah everything's amazing no one's ever allowed to say mean things about our teams and players.
Especially on gameday, but quite often at other times, objectivity turns into being called fans of the refs or of the other team. People can't handle it. It's the sports version of patriotism vs nationalism.

Depends on the criticism. Many of them are based on turning the situation (injuries, trade value, contract) into personal attacks on him. It's very fair to say he hasn't lived up to the trade or contract yet and to be guarded about his contributions this season. Saying it because he's an asshole or a POS or any other way of projecting the on-field injuries into hate for the person/player is absurd.

Didn't even make a tackle last time he got hurt...

That's unfair.
In his 2022 season, Adams had three solo tackles, one QB knockdown, and one defensed pass in 15 snaps in one game.

EDITED to add: Oh, I get what you meant now - he was injured on a play in which he didn't make a tackle. Sorry. I had incorrectly read it as you saying he didn't even make a tackle in the single game in which he played (and got hurt) in 2022.

I agree with you. I just want to state explicitly something I think you know: there's an enormous difference between Sarge and any individual who called Adams an asshole. Sarge knows Adams didn't tear his quadriceps tendon completely off the bone intentionally (and I'm pretty sure Sarge doesn't post drunk, or if he does, well, he's an awfully high-functioning drunk, 'cause even when I disagree with him, Sarge's posts generally seem pretty coherent).

EDITED to choose a more-appropriate-for-today synonym of "very large"

Make or break time. Hasn't stayed healthy and at points got torched before the injuries. He does have potential though.
