Good, watching Miles throw those bubble screens made me want to quit watching football. You could bake a cake in the time it too for him to set, throw and get the ball to the WR.
His numbers made him look a lot better then he was. He was the worst QB in the PAC12 as far as I am concerned.
Pretty interesting that the first 7 games of the year he averaged about 2 or 3 carries. The next 7 including the bowl game he averaged about 20 carries and 119 yards per. Did someone get hurt and he took over or did they figure out he was good and started feeding him the rock?
Does anybody really know anything about these 2 guys?
I saw a tweet today saying how well Waller tracked a ball really well and caught away from his body. He is crazy huge. 6'6" 238 and ran a 4.46. He had poor production but I am not sure that is odd given they throw the ball an average of...
Senior stats:
Catches 36
yards 657
AVG 18.3
TDs 8
Obviously the catches and yards by themselves aren't anything to brad about but 18.3 average and 8 TDs on 36 catches shows he is explosive. This was also on a team that threw for less then 200 yards a game and averaged less than 25 throws a...
I think Kevin Smith could make an NFL squad. He came into UW as a raw athlete who hadn't played much football. He had some bad luck with the broken wrist and missed a season. Honestly, I thought he was the most consistent, underrated and the runner up MVP on offense to Sankey. He also...
I am not sure why this is a big deal to anybody other than coming from the point of view that the pick was a swing and a miss in the 4th round. Chris Harper was probably our 8th best receiver before the cuts. He basically never showed anything and when he had the opportunity to in the 4th...
You mentioned Josh Shirley and as a Husky fan I don't see it. In fact, I hope he gets replaced as every down player and only comes in to games a situational pass rusher. He is smaller then 90% of WLB's in the NFL, he has shown zero ability to play LB(whether it is ability or just not giving...
I agree with Kearly and others on Bennett/Red. I don't see any way Red it on the team next year. On the other hand Bennett is a perfect fit for our defense. He is the prototypical run 5T/pass 3T in Pete's system. On running downs he is a + run defender at the 5 tech plus he adds good pass...
J, my point is I don't think Lyerla is anything more than a workout warrior. I know you aren't saying he is better than ASJ but I don't think it is anywhere close. Just my opinion though.
