    Playoff matchup

Been away for a while since my team kept going 7-9. After the 2010 WC game and the 2013 Divisional game I was surprised more folks didn't immediately want to play the Saints. The fellow Panther member listed some of the defensive starters that went to IR. Kikaha went today. So, basically an...

    Congratulations!

The monkey is off the team's back (and you guys shot that monkey out of a cannon). I really thought Denver would be smarter and watch the first Saints game and the screens. Apparently they thought they could do what we could not. Bad idea like I said last week. It's an awesome feeling to...

    Q&A w/Saints Fans Game Preview -- Playoff Edition ...

Keenan Lewis was the breaking point but he's cleared thankfully. If he couldn't play it was basically over. We have 3 decent safeties and 2 solid corners with Ramon Humber (very similar to Lofton) able to play with Will Herring in Haralson's LB spot, and we can go more 4-3 if needed. Rufus...

    Q&A w/Saints Fans Game Preview -- Playoff Edition ...

Boy have we made a lot of changes today. Signed a safety, cut a safety, Keenan Lewis participated, promoted Rufus Johnson from the PS (think early Junior Galette), and signed a LB to the PS.

    Q&A w/Saints Fans Game Preview -- Playoff Edition ...

    1) Do you see Percy Harvin changing the way that Rob Ryan and the Saints attack Seattle's Offense? If so, how? No, we just faced DeSean Jackson who is a lightning bolt himself so it comes down to Keenan Lewis playing man on him or Corey/slot defender getting a jam. Bush and Harper should be...

    Q&A w/Saints Fans Game Preview -- Playoff Edition ...

"To any Saints fans, question: Your quarterback is amazing. The guy amasses 5,000 yards passing like I amass weight during the holiday season. That said, it seems like for some time your run game has been the glaring hole in your offense. And again, perhaps glaring because your passing game is...

    Q&A w/Saints Fans Game Preview -- Playoff Edition ...

Looks like 100% chance of rain. I'm not sure how much it will rain, but running may be all both teams can do for parts of the game. Could be a turnover festival or nothing at all. Personally, I wouldn't have it any other way. To have to come into Seattle on the road against the best team in...

    Q&A w/Saints Fans Game Preview -- Playoff Edition ...

I know if I was a Seattle fan I'd be pretty happy going into this game. Jimmy had the tear last time we played. He's slower but still catches a few. When we played the 49ers two of their players got to play after head injuries and ours didn't so hopefully Keenan can play. We'll likey run...

    Here come the 'Aints

The team that wins this game is going to the Superbowl. Obvious advantage for the Hawks, but everyone saw the Cahrgers game so who knows? Last meeting, the Saints D did put a big lick on Lynch in the red zone and he coughed it up as well as Corey White catching an INT and then inexplicably...

    Q&A w/Saints Fans Game Preview -- Playoff Edition ...

    1) Since that 34-7 Loss to Seattle in Week 13, can you recount (from your perspective) how the rest of the regular season went for the Saints? Crappy except for Carolina and TB :) How did the team look to you and do you have any concerns moving forward? O-Line didn't road grade and kept the O...

    Q&A with Saints Fans/Seahawks-Saints Game Preview ...

Good morning and congratulations on a huge win last night. I know you are all very excited and deservedly so. Very dominant performance. The path to the SB will run through Seattle this year for the NFC. The team's concern now will be how to manage being a lock and still having to play...

Football Gameplan's 2013 Seahawks vs Saints Video Preview

I have no idea how it happened, but Roman Harper is much improved in his pass coverage. He isn't the best in the world by any means but he's a lot better than you guys will remember from that playoff game.

Thanks :) I have a feeling this game is going to be as good or better than the SB.

    Q&A with Saints Fans/Seahawks-Saints Game Preview ...

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and I know we're all ready for the brawl tonight. When you were researching the 2 Ryans and Pete did the Psycho/Amoeba defense show up for Rex or Pete? The Saints run it where 7-8 players on the defensive front are all standing and moving prior to the...

    Q&A with Saints Fans/Seahawks-Saints Game Preview ...

Good post, but that last line made me go eeeeeee. Marques Colston is a solid #1 and has been playing well since he came back from injury. Graham and Vernon Davis are not similar players. Neither are Gronk and Graham. He's more like Gates. Seattle very well may be able to shut down Graham if...

    Q&A with Saints Fans/Seahawks-Saints Game Preview ...

We actually don't blitz as much as we did under Williams. The front 4 get through consistently which is a surprise for us. We haven't had a D line play like this in more than 10 years. Hicks, Foster, Walker, and Jenkins all supply quite a bit of pressure. Galette is the other animal rusher...

If you haven't seen it, the video, DrewBrees Sport Science - YouTube, is really cool. Wilson reminds me of Drew quite a bit, except he runs better.

    Q&A with Saints Fans/Seahawks-Saints Game Preview ...

I think New Orleans and Rob Ryan is a perfect match at the perfect time. He has the right style for the culture of the people there. The D has been clicking very well under him down to the scrubs barely any of us know. It's far from where we, as fans, thought our D would be.

    Q&A with Saints Fans/Seahawks-Saints Game Preview ...

We usually come out with a lot of Sproles and some Thomas. I would say they are used well. Our O line is good at pass protection but meh at run blocking so we use the faster pass catchers more than the brawlers.
