I think Lane should take a lot of time to come back

Lane is good depth and I don't think we can get a trade for him done at this point anyway. Let him sit on the bench spelling Coleman/Griffin if needed. I think he has lost his starting job.

Congratulations Seahawks Fans- Hard Hitting Defense you have

Very few teams can pass deep against us, so I wouldn't worry about it. We are usually beaten by smart QBs who take the short, open guy a million times. Unfortunately for your team, that requires timing and you had WRs with no experience. I knew we would win the game because of that.

    Adrian Peterson traded to Arizona

I wouldn't overreact to one game against a horrible defense.

Aaron Rodgers Just Carted Off of the Field

I like how you're so insulting to Kaep when Hundley looked like straight garbage in that game. I understand at this point your season is basically over, but Kaep looks like a better option than anything you currently have.

Cards or rams should we worry more about in the division?

TB is riding on preseason hype but haven't looked good in a single game all year. Half their defense is injured and was set to be mediocre regardless. I am not afraid of Peterson and 1 game isn't a sample size worth noting.

    The Rams....

If Gurley had fumbled the ball on his own just reaching for the goal line then I would have considered that a "lucky break" but Earl caused that play as much as someone causes a strip sack fumble or makes a great catch on an INT. Give credit where it's due.

    Really strange moment - Griffin

It looked awkward but I actually think it was a good play. Had he went after Brissett and missed, the QB would have run to the outside with a WR blocking for him and likely scored.

    Seahawks Make Roster Moves 9/27

People seem to expect to go 16-0 and anything less than perfect is a fireable offense. We lost to 2 likely playoff teams at their house in competitive games early in the season with a complete shit show of an offensive line. I tend to think we'll continue to improve.

    Our Next Opponent...

The Colts actually have a decent run defense so I agree that this would be a good game to try to get that right, if at all possible. If we can run fairly well against them that will help moving forward. Because this is a primetime home game, I actually feel pretty confident we will comfortably...

    The NFL is hard

I'm not trying to tell people to "fall in line". I'm trying to bring perspective so we can get back to some decent conversations instead of having threads where people are bringing up good points, fall into the echo chamber of "everyone sucks, we're never going to win again" etc. The echo...

    The NFL is hard

I feel like no one else watches other NFL games with the hyperbolic discussions/rants that are currently going on. It's a difficult league and it's hard to win every single week. Ask yourself if you'd rather be the Patriots right now who got destroyed AT HOME by the Chiefs and then almost lost...

How important was Russ to the Super Bowl teams?

Seriously? I hope you're joking because Alex Smith had an amazing defense for at least 2 years with SF plus Frank Gore and I don't see any rings on his hand. The hyperbole on this board is out of control.

    Hi From Titans Fans

I'll be betting the under on this game. I personally see the Titan's winning, in a 16-10 type of game. Going to be a brutal watch as a Seahawks fan as the Titan's strength (D-line) is going against the Hawks weakness.

What would you think about Jon Gruden as Pete's replacement?

I think Gruden is completely overrated at this point and he also hasn't coached in a LONG time. It's likely that he would struggle at first getting used to the current NFL. He basically won that SB off the back of Dungy's defense and knowing Oakland's offense by heart. A great circumstance but...

Seahawks and kam working on extension

I think it's a good idea to extend Kam, he is still a great player and a leader on the team. A 3-4 year deal with no guarantee after year 2 around Jones' numbers would be fair and likely a good deal for the Seahawks. I know there's an injury history, but you don't let a top 5 SS walk when he is...

Least Favorite All Time Seahawk Player

I agree with most of the names in this thread but I'll add a player that constantly irritated me when he was in the game: Brian Russell. I have never in my life seen anyone play more slowly on an NFL field. Horrible angles and the slowest reactions imaginable with zero catchup ability.

RUMORS: SEA was considering drafting QB early, maybe Mahomes

I hate rumors like this. I don't doubt they had Mahomes high on their board, but I can pretty much guarantee there was NO CHANCE they would have drafted him with their first pick if he was available. There is no way at all they would choose a backup QB when they have a top 10 (if not 5 assuming...

John Schneider is hurting our team.

People freaking out about wanting O-line seem to be forgetting that we picked up a starting LT and RG in free agency.

John Schneider is hurting our team.

I am thrilled with how today went (despite the initially disappointing blue ball effect). We still have a very real option of getting: King, Lamp, Obi, Robinson, Baker, etc.. many players we likely would have selected in our original draft position #26 and we picked up a low 3rd, high 4th and a...

For all of you RW weight watchers...

We can't bust heads like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to tell 'em stories that don't go anywhere - like the time I caught the ferry over to Shelbyville. I needed a new heel for my shoe, so, I decided to go to Morganville, which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So...
