    Changing up the forum layout..

Have there been any recent forum modifications made by staff or to the forum software by XenForo? The reason I ask is that when Shaggy switched software provider to the XenForo platform I was no longer able to sign in. I figured staff were busy so it was easier to create a new account rather...

Seahawks DISCUSSING Baker Mayfield, GO GET HIM

Mayfield's $18.86M for 2022 is fully guaranteed. He won't be released. He's a top 24 NFL starter so someone will be prepared to pay him that amount of money on a 1 year try-out. His trade price is higher now than it will be in June if the Browns play hard ball. He would be a ridiculously...

Poll: Grade our team build thus far.

Could be worse. Could sign Troy Reeder for $4M+.

    INCREDIBLE Press Conference

I don't know what people want from a March press conference. No-one wants to hear: ' the season is still 5 months away but sod it, we've decided to tank'.

    Center Austin Blythe signed

It shows on NFL.com as a 1 year $4M deal. If you're paying $4M for a player who chose between 2 sub-$2M offers in 2021 and then only played 12 snaps then...(shakes head), good luck.

Seahawks Should Sign Kaepernick Pure Future Business

If he wants a try-out and then impresses at the try-out then fine. The other 31 fan bases will laugh at any team that signs Kaepernick. If/when he fails to make the active roster the media will slam that team as being racist. The onus is more on Kaepernick to show he's serious by actually...

    Center Austin Blythe signed

He started out with the Rams as a back-up C. He cross-trained at G. He had a very good 2018 season where he won the starting job at RG and he was a top 20 G that year. He wore down a bit and took over the C role due to the starting C being injured. He was then offered a 1 year mid-tier starting...

    [Speculation]Hawks trading for Jared Goff?

With an elite O-Line he can be a top 8 QB. With a terrible O-Line he can be an outside the top 40 QB. He's good in a dome, he's poor in cold, windy conditions. Not a fit.

    FA RB Sony Michel

    He's a solid back-up or 'RB by-committee' player. He's not a #1 RB and he's not worth a large salary.

    Watson to visit Niners.

:2thumbs: I don't see it happening either. If the 49ers think Lance will be ready in 2022 they'll roll with him. If they don't think he'll be ready until 2023 they'll keep Garoppolo as a stop-gap. A trade for Watson makes sense if he's the final missing piece or if they're already convinced...

    Watson to visit Niners.

It would be a $16.6M cap hit rather than a $27M cap hit, (and they're accounting for $5.5M of it this year anyway). The guaranteed salary responsibilities would transfer to the new team.

Seahawks re-sign Ryan Neal, 4 others

The Seahawks might have assigned tags to players today. I seriously doubt the players have signed them yet. The tagged players might still sign better terms elsewhere.

    Watson to visit Niners.

A lot of teams will be going through their due diligence procedures. Even the Colts have inquired about him. Watson has a no-trade clause so if he isn't willing to join specific teams those teams can avoid wasting time negotiating with the Texans. Watson has nothing to lose from listening to a...

Seahawks' mistreatment of Bobby Wagner could cost them

It's how the NFL is. Teams want to control information and how it's perceived. They're making the decision and timing on when a player leaves, not the player. It's not new and it never looks good. Wagner knew he wasn't going to be paid $16.6M by the Seahawks for 2022. From the team's...

Seahawks re-signing TE Will Dissly --3 year $24 million

It's not $6.85M a year for 2 years. It's $8.47M a year for 2 years, (based on appearances). If he didn't play at all it would still be $7.97M a year for 2 years. The 3rd year is cheaper at $7M. If he plays through all 3 years and the cap increases it will look like a decent deal. A potential $3M...

Seahawks re-signing TE Will Dissly --3 year $24 million

Sounds like good data. :2thumbs: To be honest the Rams 2020 numbers are a bit of an anomaly. The Rams only had 4 WRs and rookie WR Jefferson was pretty much benched after Week 2. He barely saw the field again until Week 13. Everett got significant playing time as a slot WR. I don't have...

Seahawks re-signing TE Will Dissly --3 year $24 million

The Rams weren't 2 TE heavy when Waldron was there. In 2021 Rams TEs had 1205 snaps on 1089 plays. Take out the jumbo 3 TE sets and it's maybe 9%. Using 2 TE sets has been a Plan B for the Rams when they have blocking issues or WRs needed a breather. The Rams had a lot of TE injuries in 2021 and...

Seahawks re-signing TE Will Dissly --3 year $24 million

In 2021 he played 512 offensive snaps, (51.7%), and made just 21 receptions. Per snap it's top 10 starting LT money. If the team expects him to play 80%+ of snaps then it looks more sensible. Maybe he'll justify the contract, but it's hard to see him outplaying it.
