I think my favorite part about Seahawk football...

Is how much we make fans and possibly even front offices question their entire team and philosophy. The Super Bowl was the best example of this, but it happens every week when we completely shutdown a team. The latest example is a post over on philadelphiaeagles.com titled "Can Eagles play...

Losing Unger is a death blow

For the game, and probably the season. Losing Mebane put us in critical condition, losing Unger finished it off.

First game all year that felt like Seahawk football

Seemed like we were headed for the same old story of a struggle against a lesser team at halftime, and then we flipped the switch. Defense came out flyin' around, poppin guys, playing with the swagger we had last year. Offense was pounding the rock. Sherm got another assist on a tip drill INT...

Literally too good at home for primetime?

What is your plan for tomorrow?

We have tickets for the CLink, so my dad, little brother, uncle, cousin, and uncle's brother are all going into the stadium when the gates open. No use trying to catch the parade AND the rally IMO. Would rather get really good seats for the rally and watch the parade on the big screens...

So who do we want to win/lose at this point?

It's really hard to predict at this point, but I was wondering if anyone has put more thought into this than I have. Assuming we're the #1, who do we want to win/lose. It seems like SF and Carolina/New Orleans are locked into the wild card spots. Is it just assumed we'll ended up playing one...

    Clock management: Big issue

The 3rd down from the 15 was the biggest play of the game. A touchdown there is worse than a first down, and I tweeted as much prior to the play (so this isn't hindsight 20/20). As soon as he converted for the first down, we should have let them waltz into the endzone if they wanted. Which...

Why didn't Thurmond appeal this week?

I was thinking about this before the Browner news, but it doesn't really make a difference with or without Browner. If Thurmond would have appealed this week then dropped it after the Saints game he could play against the Saints and then sit out the remaining 4. This seems like it would be...

I think we're selling Percy Harvin short

Listening to Doug Farrar on KJR right now confirms what I've thought for awhile. Most of the comments here, especially in the First Touch thread, seem to imply Harvin is a YAC guy only. Bubble screens, fly sweeps, etc. He's a much more complete receiver than most people are giving him credit...

If we win out at the CLink, we are Super Bowl bound

Even with losses at SF and at NYG, winning out at home guarantees us the #1 seed. The two playoff games would be at home. Russell Wilson has never lost at home. The road to the Super Bowl runs through the CLink.

Will we see the No Huddle offense this year?

Anyone who has watched UW football this year knows that Sark has turned up the tempo. He claims to be running the same offense, but going full speed no huddle. One of the main reasons for the switch was to negate deficiencies along the offensive line which he has under recruited for years. UW...

Would you take Richie Incognito on the Seahawks?

Discussion came up on Softy's show this evening. I don't remember who proposed the question, but Softy shot it down with an absolute no. I personally don't think it would be worth it no matter how much of an improvement at guard he would provide. Absolutely not. A guy like that not only has...

We can afford a loss or two. (long)

I know for the last couple weeks everybody has been freaking out about the 14-2 tie with SF if we both win out (them winning the game down there), but I think that scenario is very unlikely. New Orleans' loss to the Jets was huge in terms of gaining a game on them, as well as showing they aren't...

Alright, who else never gave up?

https://twitter.com/realChrisBrown5/sta ... 5399417856 @realChrisBrown5 I'll go on the record right now saying we end up winning this game, and it might even be by two-three scores. Wouldn't be surprised. 2:11pm It was 21-0. WIN FOREVER!
