Fantastic stuff again Jville and Jammerhawk. Thanks again. Noted on page 2 near the bottom that there was a 5/11 posting on a multiposting that malcolm or some such was put on IR prior to cut to 72 players....I am going to assume that was what they posted and you just copied it. I was told that this year there is no pre cut to 72...only the main cut to 53 along with PS players.
Thanks for updating this as things come along. You all the best. :irishdrinkers: :irishdrinkers: :irishdrinkers:
Rostermon.com reports as follows:
Malcolm Johnson FB 2017-05-11 ACT → IR
NFL.com reported him waived injured on May 11, he then reverted to IR when not claimed.
You are totally right about the cuts to 53 being the one time the team will need to cut down from 90. That change was just adopted at the last owners meeting there will now be no cut down to 75.
Thanks for the kind words for us both, and especially to my good friend Jville who is sharp as heck and very fast at reporting this information so I can post it. This thread works best when we all work together to keep it current.
Steve Donetell is also a long snapper in addition to playing tight end ...... seahawks.com link >>> [urltargetblank]http://www.seahawks.com/news/2017/06/08/seahawks-sign-te-steve-donatell-waive-te-bryce-williams[/urltargetblank]
As camp is about to open it is now time for JS to massage the crew he will have in for camp and several new prospects or castoffs will now be added to see if they can stick or live up to their draft slots.
Various sources from Twitter are reporting two more recent additions though there is nothing official yet.
The team has apparently re-signed FB- Marcel Reece which is an awesome move as he is very talented sometime Pro Bowl talent at FB.
The team has apparently come to terms with former Philadelphia DE/OLB- Marcus Smith II, a former 1st Rd. pick of the Eagles (#26) who was recently waived by them after failing to play up to his draft position. He is a very physically talented player with exceptional measureables, that just has failed to 'get it' as a pro. He will be yet another potential reclamation project.
Nothing official is yet announced with both additions so I will hold off posting them as additions until then. No corresponding player moves are also as yet announced.
Looking over the .COM roster quite a few number changes among the LBs.
Marcel Reese keeps his #44, Delano Hill is now #42. Wilhoite is now #57, Arthur Brown is #51, D.J. Alexander is #58, Marcus Smith is #97, Otha Peters is now #53 ... maybe a few other I'm missing...
