Did the banner get under Jed’s skin? Your guess is as good as mine, but it was standard procedure for the phone call to be made to ensure everyone’s safety.

Basically the folks who did this didn't know they need to get a sign-off from the NFL to fly an airplane around the stadium.

If they do it again (as they're planning on) it's just paperwork they need to get signed off on.

And yes, I think the exact same thing would happen if a business w/out NFL approval was flying advertising up around the stadium before kick-off.

But yes, I ALSO think that Jed York and the 9ers probably didn't like the message of this banner in particular, to say the least :lol:

I read on sfgate.com that the next flying banner will say, "HOLD JED ACCOUNTABLE," and will had a red background, with white letters. All in all Jed's own words that he used at the end of last season are coming back to bite him in the behind?!
