According to ticket search engine SeatGeek, Super Bowl XLVIII ticket prices are in a tailspin. Within the last forty-eight hours, the site has seen the average price paid for tickets to the event sit at $2,505, which is down nearly $1,000 (or 27.1%) from the average price of $3,439 paid for the same tickets only three days ago. The average price paid on SeatGeek closely matches the average listing prices on TiqIQ during the same period.

You think they'll go that much lower?

I would be shocked if they don't.

This is why I'm glad Denver won and not New England. Had the Patriots won, we'd see a repeat of Super Bowl XL only with Patriot fans instead of Stiller fans

If they drop below 1000 I might go.
The frigid cold weather is going to force a drop in ticket prices down quite a bit for the Manning Bowl, but I don't know about an under $1,500 line though, but who knows, it's not impossible?

TiqIQ.com shows some really cheap seats out there.
