Absolutely.

Unfortunately John and Pete have never gone after the big wave one of free agents, and Jones is probably #1 on every team's free agent board that needs a premier edge rusher. Which means he'll want a massive contract, which last I saw reported was in the 18-20M a year range.

IMO this is the year to make a big splash and free agency. But all we've heard so far from Pete is "needing to sign our own free agents."

So doubt it. We obviously prefer the 3rd or 4th wave bargain bin free agents that have one sack before their ACL's explode in week 4.
