Jaye Howard might finally be activated. Since Skruggs will probably play more DE. And I really hope we sign Ray Edwards. A pissed off player with a chip on his shoulder playing his ex team? Yes please.

Yes please. I wanna see Ray with a chip Edwards head to the ATL as well. :stirthepot:

Really sucks about Clem tho. Its time Bruce. I wanna see wipe me down all morning next sunday. Go Win Seahawks!!!!!!!!!!!!12

I like our chances without Clem. Bruce stepped up huge after he went out. Here's to NO MORE injuries for the rest of our run.

I think he'll be back sooner than expected... didn't carpenter tear his acl and come back sooner than everyone thought?

And carp wasn't the same player and ended up back on IR. I would imagine October or November would be when you could expect him back at the soonest. Even at that he will be 32 years old. Bruce can move into the LEO next year..... Draft or sign a pass rush specialist to do what Irvin did this year and move on. Im not sure what the cap/numbers would be but I think that is the direction they go. It sucks but thats the way of the NFL.

This sucks. I feel bad for Clemons and he will be missed.

Hope Ray Edwards is in shape and ready to play. He would be my next call.

It is what it is. Any initial reports on recovery time? Can't expect everyone to be Peterson but I would expect he will be with us for games 5-16 next year.

If Clemons will take 9 months to heal, I wonder how long RGIII will be out for.

Not really inspiring confidence with that comparison

So, besides Edwards, what are our options?

Well the fact that Scruggs will be the new "Raheem Brock" goes without saying, but that's it for depth on the roster for speed rushers. I imagine we could probably press Allan Bradford into service as a hand in the dirt rusher if needed. Is Korey Toomer still in the system? I bet he could fill in as a speed rusher as well.

But yeah... the cupbord is looking pretty thin for "Leo's" after Scruggs, so I really hope they bring in Edwards to help round out the rotation.

When you watch the film, it's hard to understand just how he did it as he was simply doing a stunt when he planted his foot somehow in a bad position. No one fell on his leg or hit his knee. It looked like such a freak injury that could've only been caused by a crappy field.

Let's draft some more pass rushers. We need them anyway. If Pete wasn't going to do it before you would think he is going to definitely do it now.

The best pass rushers in the world aren't all that effective w/o at least one person on the D-line that eats a double-team every snap, or just an overall really good D-line that gets regular pressure w/o double-teams.
