Double Posting Issue (and the fix)

Everyone is noticing the double posting problem around here recently. The fix is this: if your browser doesn't automatically refresh to the normal page afterwards, don't worry and don't click submit again. Just click at the top and return to the main menu. It submitted; it just didn't tell you it did. Thanks.

Why has this started to happen? Is there a band width issue, or a capacity issue, or is there a flaw in the program?

A script that would block posters from posting within 20 seconds or so from their previous post and give them a timer message if they tried would be a possible solution.
