McDonald & McDaniel are a must sign. Dudes are under appreciated imo.

Nope, NO ONE is a must sign. It would be nice to bring back 1 of them, but neither of them are vital cogs to the system.

Remember last year people were saying "We need to resign Branch," because he's that big beast in the middle, instead we bring in McDaniel and he plays better than Branch. Whose to say we can't plug and play another person in that role and still succeed? McDonald adds valuable depth but is by no means critical to the teams success.

Absolutely right! There are a ton of good free agent run stoppers. I hope we bring in multiple guys, let them compete and the best will rise to the top. Tony McDaniel was really good though.

I tend to think having the LOB and Mebsne collapsing the pocket while Bennett and Avril crash around and confuse o-lines has to have helped the McD brothers. They wete still the smaller threat while opponents focused on the other three and the QB was hanging onto the ball to lonhg with no one open.

Both FA's also. Not entirely confident they would be ss motivated as last year under contract. Guess we'll find out one way or another though.
