Broncos fan here. The press are just looking for any kind of controversy at this point. Any honest Bronco fan will tell you that Manning throws ducks. Manning knows he throws ducks. The guy never had a cannon arm to begin with, and it's definitely gotten weaker since his surgeries. Bfd. Montana (and now Manning) proved that arm strength is one of the least important attributes of a good QB.

If these weeks have shown anything, it's that they should play the SB the week after the conference championships. Two weeks is just too much and promotes this circus atmosphere. The championship games had such great narratives (SEA vs SF, Manning vs Brady), but now the press has got nothing but ducks and 'thug' and other nonsense.

Unfortunately that's WHY the league waits two weeks, so they can have an extra week to hype up the game into a nauseating frenzy in order to maximize ad revenue.
