Should Seahawks acquire him ?
Should Seahawks acquire him ?
Even if you move on from KJ?sutz":29az97el said:I'm sure they'll take a look, but LB isn't really a position of need IMO, even if Kendricks doesn't come back.
I'd stick with Barton and BBK with 'Quem as a speed rusher, plus another rook.

K.J. Wright signed a 2 year, $14,000,000 contract with the Seattle Seahawks, including a $5,000,000 signing bonus, $6,500,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $7,000,000. In 2020, Wright will earn a base salary of $5,000,000 and a roster bonus of $2,500,000, while carrying a cap hit of $10,000,000 and a dead cap value of $2,500,000.
Yeah, just wonder how valuable that 7.5 million becomes if they have FA DL options that get pricey.sutz":37ahp6yb said:K.J. Looks like KJ is under contract through this season. I doubt they cut him. If they wanted to ease that $10M cap hit they could restructure, I guess. From everything I've heard he's in their plans through this year, at least.
Obviously the Clowney situation would figure into that. If it came down to that I think I'd rather keep KJ, let Clowney walk, and use that 20-25 mill on 2 or 3 guys for rotation and such. Maybe. I'm glad JS makes those decisions and not me. KJ might get a re-structure, too, to save a few mill.Osprey":1115v7e7 said:Yeah, just wonder how valuable that 7.5 million becomes if they have FA DL options that get pricey.sutz":1115v7e7 said:K.J.
