They know by saying something like this that it will cause people to watch their videos and hopefully remind those people that Fox Sports 1 exists. It's marketing... at it's low point. Fox has been schooling their people in the "Skip Bayless lack of information and horrible opinion school". The shock effect in order to get people to tune in, the ratings must be that bad (probably not as bad as most of their shows are).
