He does. But not to the blind-deaf media leeches and to the idiot overseeing the downfall of the NFL.

Oh don't try to lay this whole thing on the fans, Roger.

99.9% of us are fine with amount of Beast Mode that we see and the one-on-one interviews that he prefers. We don't care if he ever does a cluster-scrum press conference again. The dissatisfaction is all you and the faceless media-piranhas that just want to goad him into saying something controversial so they can publicly burn him at the stake.

Simple solution...

Fine Lynch $100.00 plus a lifetime suspension from all NFL sanctioned press conferences.

That will teach him...

He does have an contractual obligation and I believe he has meet it

If the minimum wasn't good enough it wouldn't be the minimum!

If every fan was given the choice between Lynch never giving an interview and continuing to play and never playing again but giving an interview.... what would you choose?

This would need to be moved to the shack for me to properly express my appreciation for Goodell.

I think Goodell loves the chance to point finger at anyone else to take the attention of his horrible management of the NFL and inconsistent punishments this year

Rog needs to be dropped on his head a few times. He is a clueless moron, who's biases have been exposed.
He needs to step down.

Based on the snippets I've seen on nfl.com, I'd say that Marshawn has given the mediots more than enough ammo for their spin machine. They secretly love his responses.

which would have given the scrum media more news? Lynch giving answers to stupid questions with bland and stock answers like everyone else, or the fight the power responses he has given? The media has there story and they have run with it. They need to stop bitching, and be thankful they still have a career in this day of social media.

sort of sounds like a movie i know...

STAN
I need to talk about your flair.

JOANNA
Really? I have 15 buttons on. I, uh, (shows him

STAN
Well, ok, 15 is minimum, ok?

JOANNA
Ok.

STAN
Now, it's up to you whether or not you want to just do the bare
minimum. Well, like Brian, for example, has 37 pieces of flair. And a
terrific smile.

JOANNA
Ok. Ok, you want me to wear more?

STAN
Look. Joanna.

JOANNA
Yeah.

STAN
People can get a cheeseburger anywhere, ok? They come to Chotchkie's
for the atmosphere and the attitude. That's what the flair's about.
It's about fun.

JOANNA
Ok. So, more then?

STAN
Look, we want you to express yourself, ok? If you think the bare
minimum is enough, then ok. But some people choose to wear more and we
encourage that, ok? You do want to express yourself, don't you?

JOANNA
Yeah. Yeah.

STAN
Great. Great. That's all I ask.

JOANNA
Ok.

I just tweeted the Commish:

@nflcommish @MoneyLynch meets his fan obligations via his play on the field & his social media presence. The majority of us are good w/that.

They always make it about the fans, yet I remember the majority of fans supporting Lynch's decision last time they polled it.

You should have also told him to pry his lips off of Kraft's backside. 8)

People like Goodell (and the NFL owners) are control freaks. They want to control everything. ML is calling them out and they don't like it. They want to wrestle control back.

Huh. Goodell never asked me my opinion.

I think Roger has an obligation to not speak for me.

But a $500,000 just to not talk? Sounds like Goodell is making it personal with that kind of figure.
