Not too long ago, there was a local case where a guy was accused of sexual assault. He said it was consensual. Her roommate was noncommittal and ultimately the verdict was not guilty.
I don't place much credence in "scuttlebutt," but the rumor was that she really like him, and when all he wanted was sex, she turned on him.
The moral of the story? There are always 2 sides to the story. I try to let the courts determine the truth. They aren't always accurate, but a lot of truths come out in front of a Judge.
In this case, she decided to skip the hearing is that correct? That could mean it was false accusation, she got paid off, or she was too scared. Considering things, I don't think the latter was the case.
It's Greg Hardy's fault for associating with that kind of woman. But speaking from personal experience, some of them can have a siren-like allure to them. They're the most dangerous type of woman. You look back and ask "WTH was I thinking?"
I'd give him the benefit of the doubt in this case. He's definitely a hothead, but he's also passionate about the game. If he would play for league minimum with no guarantess so that I could cut him painlessly, I'd consider it, but only AFTER an extensive interview.
