Harbaugh on Seahawks final play & being fired after C-LINK

I'm glad Harbaugh is in a great place. The season and past seasons were a great sight to see. A coach being able to accomplish so much even with the back stabbing going on. Sad. To see my niners that way. I think I'm finally done with it all. No loyalty or respect for others just childish games. Balke and York have ruined this team for me. And for this in done. This is not my Niners of past. This is no proud franchise. They have no resemblance of what the niners were or should be.

I do feel sorry for the core 49er fan.I wouldn't want it to happen to us that way.I'll miss the competition we got from them under Harbaugh.That said..rikats does this mean your a free agent fan?We will take you,Marvin and Irv in. :thirishdrinkers:

Thanks, but I'll never be a free agent. I'll bleed red and gold till the day I die...regardless of what I think of ownership.

As for the Dan Snyder comparisons...I think that's way off-base. That's not a defense of York BTW...just completely different situation.

I have believed and continue to believe that SOMETHING happened behind the scenes that neither party is really going to talk about for some time. Say what you want about Jed, but he ain't stupid. The reaction to firing Harbaugh isn't unexpected. The "mutual parting" thing to me is a red herring. Something happened there because Harbaugh could have walked away with his final years salary...and he didn't. He may have been fired, but there was some sort of agreement there because he walked away with 5 mil on the table.

Will Tomsula be a great coach? Absolutely no idea. I have no delusions about the 49ers being a powerhouse next year. Is it possible they return to Super Bowl contender? Sure. Is it possible they fall deeper into the abyss? Sure.

For the first time in several years, I have no idea what to expect. I have no clue even what the team that takes the field will look like.

...but I'll be watching. I will never jump ship. Ever. It's not in me any more than its in any of you to jump ship on the 'hawks when they inevitably plummet from contender in the near or distant future.

Thanks Marvin. I feel the same way. Not a free agent but am completely disgusted on the ownership cheap ass ways. And their love affair over porn stach coach.

Now that JH is gone from SF, I wish him nothing but the best at Michigan. I'm glad to see he's got good taste in tv shows, too.

I won't mind seeing SF fall apart. I don't feel sorry yet. Give it a few seasons.
