Hawks release 8 players

Its May. The roster churns all the way up till the final 53 is announced. Wouldn't be surprised to see some of these guys come back because of injuries sustained in training camp.

Plus, it's happening all over the league as teams decide which players will compete in camp. It is certain that more signings will come, and more cuts as things shake out.

Strange that we cut Cox already. I thought he was our hedge against all the lack of experience in our secondary.

I feel very confident with the acquisitions this off season, way more than usual. But one of the most underrated positions is kicker and if Walsh is our guy I'm gonna be worried...every game, every PAT and I probably won't watch if there's a win on the line. For some reason, I never liked Haushka, but he was reliable.
