Local college kid coming home from the Jags.

Edited the link for you.

This guy is talented. He could have a career renaissance here, and his career hasn't been horrible to begin with. I love everything about it. He got a raw deal with his college injury stealing his draft status - I hope he comes in with a chip on his shoulder.

As it was when he was drafted, though - it's his health that is the downside.

Thank you. I need to figure out how to do that correctly lol.

Hopefully he works out!

Jags fans seem to be confused by this. He was playing well for them apparently. Would love to see a player come in and make an impact!

Only a conditional 6th rounder given up too. Will be interesting to see what other moves get made!

Tom Pelisero is reporting it's a 2022 6th round pick to Jax for Jones -

Agreed! Would LOVE to see him connect with the system and realize his ability here in Seattle! Low risk high ceiling for sure!

I wonder if thats a "thank you for the opportunity" or a "thank you for getting me out of Jacksonville"

Both! Plus a Thank You for being sent to the Seahawks.

There are DBs that fail elsewhere because of the scheme and the coaching. I've always said that Kam and Sherman became great because Pete allowed them to. He took advantage of their strengths, and put them in position to succeed. That goes for KJ too.

A lot of our successful players may not even have sniffed the field, or made it through final cuts on half of the teams in the NFL. Happens every year. A good to great player that just needs a chance, never gets it, and is never able to realize their dream. All because they don't fit the scheme, or the accepted measurements for their position.

I think this says two tbings:

1. DJ Reed might be taking a little longer than anticipated to get back to 100%.

2. We'd love to cut Flowers and save 2.1M of non guaranteed salary.

Good trade. Jones has been healthy all preseason and can come in, compete and give us some depth while Pete's figuring out how the CB position shakes out.

Seems like this could be a good trade.

Easiest way to figure out how to embed is by quoting someone who does it properly to see what they did. That's how I learned to embed YouTube videos and tweets.

Even that took me a while with the Twitter links. It's removing that pesky ?s=21 at the end of the link that took me awhile to figure out.

That's what I'm thinking.

I think Tre Flowers will get the chop.

A few things, I know he was working out with our DB's on occasion before he was drafted, hopefully they taught some technique with Kick Step which seems to be the make or break aspect for us in keeping guys. He was in the VMAC frequently so has associations with the staff another good aspect, played in the area so not a lot of orientation needed.

Now staying healthy, he has all the tools, has shown them, hope he has got the injury bug out of his system going forward.

I wanted him as a rookie, not sure off memory but wasn't King also in that draft and I liked Jones more.
